Nestle Health Science
Nestle Health Science was originally formed in 2011. They are the first of a new breed of health science company. Their focus is to advance the role of nutrition and to change the course of health management for consumers, patients, doctors, nurses and their partners in healthcare. Their new office is in the new business park of Nexus Court Mulgrave.
Overall we incorporated a light Scandinavian palette of white, light timber look vinyl flooring and laminate in the joinery along with their corporate colours of light blues/mid blue tones and neutral tones of grey to link branding. Feature Beaker Pendant lighting of various sizes reflect what they do as a business are scattered throughout Informal Meeting and Breakout Zones above tables.
The new office fit out is comprised of a Waiting Area, Boardroom and Meeting Rooms, NCE Meeting Room, Open Plan Workstation Area along the Perimeter, Offices, central Utilities Areas, an varied abundance of informal meeting zones, Acoustic Collaboration Booths, Storage, Tasting/Display Room and a reasonably sized Kitchen Breakout for staff.
As you enter the Waiting Area a defined welcoming feature hexagonal shaped carpet tile encompasses the whole area with a refreshment tea prep available for visitors. Boardrooms and Meeting Rooms are neutral in tone and formal. A walk through NCE Meeting Area is central for team meetings with mobile joinery and whiteboards to organise the day to day activities.
All sit/stand workstations and office desks provide staff with a flexible working environment and give an overall fresh aesthetic added with a balance of planters on adequate storage near workstations. Surrounding open working areas are a range of Informal Meeting areas that consist of high bench with stools, modular ottomans with coffee tables, standard chairs with standard meeting tables and privacy booths. All Informal Meeting furniture and visitors chairs have incorporated branding tones and give the new office a splash of colour and hints of a subtle hexagon pattern in some of the upholstery. Central Utilities areas carry through with panels of block colour again in the joinery which tie the concept together. A Tasting/Display Room is included for testing their products, a visual open display shelving on show and mobile table for transportation of products from shelving to sink and preparation areas which would also adapt as a working bench.
The Kitchen/Breakout room is enclosed to reduce noise throughout the office with options of different configurations of seating of high benches, formal seating and lounge areas. Highlighted features of the Kitchen/Breakout are in light oak timber look vinyl flooring, the white and blue and seasoned oak joinery panelling, the feature brickbond rectangular ceramic tile splashback with dark grout and the cafe laneway graphic wall.
