Our new AAMI Park office was just an empty space, so we worked with Grant to define how we wanted to use the space, what the options were and what we could do. The one thing that we really needed to get right was the reception area, which we’re really happy with now. It looks great and reflects our brand and colours.

Grant was always there to give us their opinion and advice. We now have a number of workstations, offices, a small call centre, a board room, an IT room and storeroom.

We bought the space with nothing more than carpet, so it was a real blank canvass without any previous demarcations of office space. I was impressed with Grant’s ability to design something and estimate straight away about room sizes, their look and feel and the flow of traffic.

Grant saw the whole project through from start to finish, from fire evacuations, sprinkler systems through to plush, wonderful seating and work stations that gave the right feel for our business. Our boardroom wasn’t too ostentatious, it met our business well. Grant read our needs of our business, our customers and market positioning well.

The first thing that stood out for me was Grant’s concept of space, but the overall memory is the customer care and authenticity in making sure that we were satisfied.

We established a new facility in Melbourne, with new laboratories and developed new office and storage space. Concept Office Interiors managed the full renovation, including new laboratories, storage facilities, office space, a new mezzanine area, reception, restricted swipe card access, plastering in the storage facilities, air conditioning and plumbing.

What I found really good was the quality and commitment of the tradespeople that Grant brought in. For instance, the storage room needed to be plastered within a particular timeframe; the plasterers came in and finished the work during a particularly hot weekend. They were among the best of the tradespeople.

I would recommend Concept Office Interiors because they are able to handle the whole project. They provided all tradesman, electrical, plumbing, plasterers, carpeting, air conditioning and such, enabling us to get on with running our Business.

We needed a new office when we took over the catering rights at AAMI Park. We needed a new office for our staff, six individual offices, some work stations and meeting rooms. This office is what you would call a front window to our catering operations.

Grant Gifford was our key contact and we were in constant contact with him throughout the process. We set a fairly tough date and they overcame all of the challenges to get us in on time. We worked well with Grant, and even though we made a few changes, as you do on these types of projects, Grant and his team responded very well.

Working from our initial one-page brief their design team put together an excellent initial layout. They then proceeded with great skill to gather feedback from our team and refined the design progressively to the one that we signed-off for construction. They were able to deal with some unusual and challenging requirements we had for acoustic test rooms. And they made so many useful suggestions for improving both the visual design and practical amenity of the space that I have no doubt we would never have achieved the same results without their expertise.

Their dedicated project manager and experienced construction team worked to a well communicated schedule. They welcomed us on-site for frequent visits and were always willing to discuss and resolve relationships with existing tenants of the building.
